Avni Engjulu
poet, short story writer, translator, of Turkish ethnicity in Macedonia. Born 7th September 1947 in Skopje. Finished Pedagogical School in Skopje. Works as an editor with the Macedonian radio. Member of the Macedonian Writers’Association since 1976.
Works: First born (poetry, 1972), Under the Willow (short stories, 1974) Mete (poetry for children, 1983), Four Seasons (poetry for children, 1984), Are you a man, or not (poetry, 1985), Untold thoughts (poetry, 1993).
