Ivan Džeparoski
poet, essayist, translator (rendition), anthologist, scholar. Born 9th May 1958 in Skopje. Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. Worked as a journalist and editor with Skopje Radio and Television. Professor of aesthetics at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. One-time Secretary of the Macedonian P.E.N Centre. Member of the Macedonian Writers’ Association since 1989.
Works: Argos sails down the Axius (essays, 1984), Paintings of the exhibition (poetry, 1989), Eclogues (poetry, 1992), In search of the lost identity (philosophical study, 1993), The work of art (aesthetics study, 1998), Poems (1998).
Awards include: “Mlad borec”, “Dimitar Mitrev”, “Grigor Prlicev”.
