P.E.N. International - An Association of the World’s Writers
RESOLUTION ON MACEDONIA,
Submitted by the Slovene P.E.N. and Macedonian P.E.N. Centre

In accordance with previous resolutions of International P.E.N. about the Macedonian question, the 58^th World Congress of P.E.N. recognizes the existence and high achievement of Macedonian literature and culture in general. Therefore, International P.E.N. supports the efforts of the Macedonian people to find their proper place in the international community and the basic right of this nation to have the name which has been used for centuries - Macedonians;

The delegates of the 58^th P.E.N. Congress recommend that there should be a dialogue between Macedonian and Greek writers on issues of mutual concern and cultural Cupertino.
