As an integral part of the collaboration between the Macedonian and the French P.E.N. Centres, the President of the French P.E.N. His stay actually represented a return visit for the visit the Macedonian delegation of writers, members of the Macedonian P.E.N. Centre, paid the French P.E.N. Centre in Paris, in April 2004.
During his stay, Jean Blot had many conversations with his colleges from Macedonia considering the future collaboration between the two P.E.N. Centres. The President of the Macedonian P.E.N., Mr. Dimitar Bashevski, spoke on this meeting about the collaboration of the two P.E.N. Centres, and the writer Vlada Uroshevic spoke specifically about the literary connections between Macedonia and France.
